Jane Seymour is teaching that important message to her onscreen daughter, who&#8217;s played by Juliet Doherty, in the upcoming film, &#8216;High Strung Free Dance.&#8217; In honor of the sentimental parent-child bonding between the two characters, which will be seen on screen when the drama&#8217;s released in theaters on October 11, ShockYa is premiering an exclusive clip from the feature.<\/p>\n<p>Besides Doherty, who, in addition to being an actress, is also a world-class dancer, and Seymour, &#8216;High Strung Free Dance&#8217; stars up-and-coming &#8216;Descendants&#8217; actor, Thomas Doherty (no relation to Juliet), as well. The Emmy Award-winning Seymour is reprising her &#8216;High Strung&#8217; role as Oksana in, and also served as an executive producer on, the new movie. The film features supporting performances from veteran actors Ace Bhatti (&#8216;Bohemian Rhapsody,&#8217; &#8216;Eastenders&#8217;) and Desmond Richardson (&#8216;Chicago&#8217;), and as well a cameo from dancer-choreographer, Nigel Lythgoe (&#8216;So You Think You Can Dance&#8217;).<\/p>\n<p>The sequel to the 2016 romantic drama, &#8216;High Strung,&#8217; features an expansive mix of choreography from Emmy Award winner Tyce Diorio (&#8216;So You Think You Can Dance&#8217;), which is performed by 80 of the world&#8217;s most thrilling dancers. The dance performances are set against an original soundtrack that blends unique orchestrations into reimagined classical, rap and pop tracks.<\/p>\n<p>Broadway stars Michael Damian and Janeen Damian return as the creative team leading the upcoming romantic dance feature. Michael  directed the movie, after writing the script with Janeen. The duo also produced the new installment in the series, after they also co-scribed and produced, and he helmed, its predecessor.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;High Strung Free Dance&#8217; follows Zander Raines (Thomas Doherty), a dazzling and tempestuous young choreographer who gives the break of a lifetime to two hopeful artists when he casts a stunning contemporary dancer, Barlow (Juliet Doherty) and innovative pianist, Charlie (Harry Jarvis) in New York\u2019s most-anticipated new Broadway show: Free Dance.
