The rich character study that morphs social alienation into hope for the future is showcased in the new psychological thriller, &#8216;The Wolf Hour.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>The stunning character study will be showcased when <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shockya.com\/news\/2017\/03\/26\/interview-tatiana-maslany-the-other-half\/\">Brainstorm Media<\/a> releases the film in theaters on Friday, December 6. The mystery drama, which was written and directed by Alistair Banks Griffin, stars <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shockya.com\/news\/2016\/11\/12\/shut-in-star-naomi-watts-experiences-some-of-the-creepiest-dreams-in-film\/\">Naomi Watts<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shockya.com\/news\/2018\/02\/08\/fifty-shades-freed-movie-review\/\">Jennifer Ehle<\/a>, Emory Cohen and Kelvin Harrison Jr.<\/p>\n<p>Brainstorm Media has released the following synopsis for &#8216;The Wolf Hour&#8217;:<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s July 1977, and New York City is awash with escalating violence. A citywide blackout is triggering fires, looting and countless arrests, and the Son of Sam murders are riddling the city with panic. June (Watts), who was once a celebrated counterculture figure, attempts to retreat from the chaos by shutting herself inside the yellowed walls of her grandmother&#8217;s South Bronx apartment. But her doorbell is ringing incessantly, the heat is unbearable, and creeping paranoia and fear are taking hold.
