The trailer was unveiled by the film&#8217;s distributor, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shockya.com\/news\/2019\/02\/18\/interview-jaz-deol-darkness-visible-exclusive\/\">Blue Fox Entertainment<\/a>, which is set to release the movie in theaters and On Demand this Valentine&#8217;s Day, February 14.<\/p>\n<p>The trailer&#8217;s unveiling comes after the indie feature won awards and acclaim at several film festivals. &#8216;A Simple Wedding&#8217; screened at such festivals as the LA Film Festival, Palm Springs International Film Festival, Atlanta Film Festival and Cleveland International Film Festival.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to Grammy, the comedy also stars Christopher O&#8217;Shea, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Rita Wilson, Maz Jobrani, Peter Mackenzie, James Eckhouse, Houshang Touzie, Jaleh Modjallel, Rebecca Henderson and Aleque Reid. The movie marks the feature directorial debut of award-winning Iranian-American filmmaker, Sara Zandieh. Her first short film, &#8216;The Pool Party,&#8217; earned her a jury award at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shockya.com\/news\/2018\/12\/26\/2018-tribeca-film-festival-interview-mitzi-peirone-cast-braid-exclusive\/\">Tribeca Film Festival<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to serving as the helmer, Zandieh also co-wrote the script for &#8216;A Simple Wedding&#8217; with Stephanie Wu, and served as a producer. Rita Wilson was also one of the executive producers on the comedy.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.shockya.com\/news\/2019\/02\/08\/darkness-visible-exclusive-clip-jaz-deol\/\">Blue Fox Entertainment<\/a> has released the following synopsis for &#8216;A Simple Wedding&#8217;:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Iranian-American Nousha (Grammy) has a habit of sabotaging her relationships, frustrating her parents &#8211; she&#8217;s their only hope for a real Persian wedding. Then Nousha meets Alex (O&#8217;Shea), a bisexual artist, activist and DJ living in an old warehouse.
