Variety.com is reporting that 20th Century Fox will be developing “The Deep Blue Goodbye”, an adaptation of the John D. MacDonald mystery series with Leonardo DiCaprio starring. <\/p>\n
Peter Chernin, DiCaprio, and Jennifer Davisson Killoran are all onboard as producers for the project, which is being written by Dana Stevens. DiCaprio will be playing Travis McGee, a beach bum and “salvage consultant” who lives on a house boat and recovers various types of property for clients, getting into a lot of trouble at the same time.<\/p>\n
