Rapper Fat Joe<\/strong> is countersuing alleged victim Terrance Dixson<\/strong> and his attorney Tyrone Blackburn, <\/strong>for defamation and an “attempted extortion scheme.” Representing Fat Joe<\/strong> is attorney Joe Tacopina<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Tyrone Blackburn<\/strong> told TMZ Hip Hop, ‘”the new lawsuit is just a cover-up attempt<\/strong> and isn’t backing down … saying Joe filed “a baseless lawsuit<\/strong> in an effort to soften the blow of what’s to come. It won’t work. Fat Joe has a lot of explaining to do<\/strong>.”‘<\/p>\n

As we reported<\/a> yesterday, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs\u00a0<\/strong>is rumored to be hiring attorney Joe Tacopina <\/strong>to represent him in his criminal case. Some sources have claimed that Jay-Z<\/strong> is attempting to ‘help out<\/strong>‘ Diddy,<\/strong> by having Tacopina<\/strong> represent him. Others believe Tacopina<\/strong> may be a trojan horse<\/strong> designed to sink Diddy<\/strong> once and for all, for Jay-Z<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The cloak and dagger<\/strong> relationship between attorneys<\/strong> involved in the Diddy case<\/strong>, and potential Jay-Z case<\/strong>, has many people guessing who where allegiances lie.<\/p>\n

Proxy War Between Diddy and Jay-Z, Against Tyrone Blackburn?<\/h2>\n

In what some are referring to as a proxy war<\/strong>, Tyrone Blackburn<\/strong> and his client are being countersued by Fat Joe<\/strong> and Joe Tacopina<\/strong>. Tyrone Blackburn<\/strong> is best known for representing Diddy victim<\/strong>, Rodney ‘Lil Rod’ Jones<\/strong> in his civil case. Fat Joe<\/strong> is long time friends of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs<\/strong> and Jay-Z<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Jay-Z<\/strong> has been scrambling<\/strong> to distance himself from Diddy<\/strong> and his criminal enterprise<\/strong> charges. Jay-Z’s attorney, Alex Spiro<\/strong> (rhymes with Pyro), was caught in several scandals<\/a> relating to attacking plaintiff’s attorney<\/strong>, Tony Buzbee<\/strong>, who is suing Diddy<\/strong> and Jay-Z <\/strong>on behalf of his clients. It is also alleged that they also intimidated<\/strong> Buzbee’s client<\/strong>, a 13 year-old-girl<\/strong> who accused Jay-Z<\/strong> and Diddy<\/strong> of rape<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Allegedly, Fat Joe<\/strong> is very close to both Diddy<\/strong> and Jay-Z<\/strong>. When not reminding his kids he “doesn’t have money like Jay-Z<\/strong> and Diddy<\/strong>,”<\/a> Fat Joe<\/strong> has numerous projects with Diddy<\/strong>, including a TV series<\/a> with Diddy<\/strong> for Starz<\/strong> network.<\/p>\n

Recently, rumors have been flying around that Diddy<\/strong> is considering hiring Joe Tacopina <\/strong>to represent him in his criminal case in SDNY<\/strong>. Diddy’s Goliath legal team<\/strong> already includes Mark Geragos<\/strong>, Teny Geragos<\/strong>, Marc Agnifilo<\/strong>, Brian Steele<\/strong>, and several others.<\/p>\n
