Most Obnoxious Manner One Could Contemplate&#8221;<\/h3>\n<p>In <strong>April 2024<\/strong>, <strong>Alex Spiro<\/strong> <strong>wrongly appeared<\/strong> at a <strong>Texas<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.is\/FTX7e\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">deposition<\/a> <strong>without pro hac vice admission,<\/strong> and then proceeded to act in a <strong>\u201cridiculously unprofessional\u201d<\/strong> <strong>manner<\/strong>, according to a <strong>sanctions<\/strong> motion by a Los Angeles man.<\/p>\n<p>The ABA Journal <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.is\/FTX7e\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;Alex Spiro<\/strong> acted in a way that was \u201c<strong>astonishingly unprofessional<\/strong>, as he <strong>continually interrupted the deposition<\/strong> with commentary, <strong>gave numerous improper instructions<\/strong> not to answer, <strong>berated opposing counsel<\/strong>, <strong>insulted plaintiff\u2019s claims<\/strong>, <strong>mocked counsel\u2019s questions<\/strong>, and <strong>generally acted in the most obnoxious manner one could contemplate<\/strong> without crossing into parody,\u201d according to allegations in the <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.is\/o\/FTX7e\/https:\/\/aboutblaw.com\/bdy3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">April 8 sanctions motion<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div>The motion claims that <strong>Spiro\u2019s \u201csense of entitlement\u201d<\/strong> led to his <strong>surprise appearance<\/strong> at the March 27 deposition and to his <strong>\u201coutrageous conduct\u201d<\/strong> at the proceeding.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Spiro, who <strong>\u201cbrazenly engaged in unauthorized practice of law,\u201d<\/strong> according to the sanctions motion, <strong>tried to seal the transcript<\/strong>\u2014<strong>without success<\/strong>.<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Spiro\u2019s<\/strong> name appeared <strong>170 times<\/strong> in the transcript of the 110-page deposition. He <strong>continuously interrupted<\/strong> with <strong>\u201csnide and ridiculous commentary\u201d<\/strong> while <strong>coaching the witness<\/strong>, the motion alleged.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div><strong>Spiro<\/strong> had filed a motion for <strong>pro hac vice permission<\/strong> to participate in the case, even though he is not licensed in Texas, but it had not been granted at the time of the deposition, according to Reuters.<\/div>\n<p>&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Alex Spiro<\/strong> is currently a <a href=\"https:\/\/opengovny.com\/attorney\/4656542\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">licensed<\/a> attorney in <strong>New York, bar license #4656542<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone with information regarding any <strong>ethical violations<\/strong> or <strong>criminal violations<\/strong> is able to contact law enforcement, and <a href=\"https:\/\/ww2.nycourts.gov\/attorneys\/grievance\/complaints.shtml\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">submit a complaint<\/a> with the <strong>Attorney Disciplinary \/ Grievance Committee, NYUCS<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_208184\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-208184\" style=\"width: 1242px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-208184\" src=\"https:\/\/www.shockya.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/alex-spiro_jay-z_harvey-weinstein_lisa-bloom.jpeg\" alt=\"Jay-Z's attorney Alex Spiro.
