\nJay-Z’s Roc Nation<\/strong> is being accused of \u201cracketeering, trafficking, and related unlawful activity,\u201d<\/strong> in a lawsuit filed by plaintiff Terrance Dixon<\/strong>. The lawsuit is one of many being leveled against Shawn Carter<\/strong>, better known as Jay-Z<\/strong>, and his allegedly corrupt company, Roc Nation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In the background, Roc Nation ‘fixer’ attorneys, Joe Tacopina and Alex Spiro, <\/strong>appear to be desperately trying to distract the public <\/strong>from Carter’s criminal enterprise<\/strong>, and once again reframe the narrative<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

We previously<\/a> exposed Roc Nation’s “baseless media campaign”<\/strong> involving Harvey Levin’s TMZ, <\/strong>and notorious attorney Joe Tacopina<\/strong>. Back in May 2025,<\/strong> Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs long-time attorney Mark Geragos,<\/strong>\u00a0used TMZ<\/strong> to broadcast “misinformation and lies,”<\/strong> leading to his admonishment<\/strong><\/a> by the judge in Combs’ federal case<\/strong>. It appears that once again, alleged criminals’<\/strong> attorneys<\/strong> are flocking to Harvey and TMZ<\/strong> for a platform to twist the truth<\/strong> and spin their lies<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Jay-Z’s Roc Nation and their \u201cracketeering, trafficking, and related unlawful activity.\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/h2>\n

Dixon’s attorney Tyrone Blackburn<\/strong> laid out the entire misinformation campaign <\/strong>in his August 8th, 2025\u00a0court filing<\/a> in the Southern District of New York.\u00a0<\/strong>The filing reiterates the initial complaint’s assertions that Roc Nation<\/strong> is a RICO enterprise.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cThe pleading sets forth specific acts by Roc Nation personnel<\/strong>, including the coordination of financial cover-ups, the laundering of illicit proceeds through corporate accounts, and the provision of resources to conceal ongoing criminal conduct.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cRoc Nation (sic) coordinated \u2026 to shield criminal activity from law enforcement scrutiny\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/h2>\n

\u201cRoc Nation<\/strong>, through it\u2019s leadership and personnel, coordinated with Defendant Cartagena (Fat Joe) to launder illicit proceeds, shield criminal activity from law enforcement scrutiny, and provide operational cover for the enterprise.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Alleged Criminality of Jay-Z’s Roc Nation, Fat Joe, and Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs<\/strong><\/em><\/h2>\n

Fat Joe <\/strong>is a Roc Nation <\/strong>artist<\/a>. Fat Joe’s <\/strong>close associate, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs<\/strong> was recently convicted in his federal trial,<\/strong> also in the Southern District of New York<\/strong>. Combs<\/strong> is now awaiting sentencing<\/strong>, facing a maximum of 20 years in jail<\/strong>. Combs<\/strong> is also facing over 60 civil lawsuits<\/strong>, with numerous accusations of racketeering, sex trafficking, and violence<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

These same types of allegations are now hitting Jay-Z,<\/strong> his company Roc Nation,<\/strong> and it’s CEO, convicted drug trafficker Desiree Perez<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Criminal Attorneys<\/em><\/h2>\n

Roc Nation’s attorney’s, <\/strong>Alex Spiro <\/strong>and Joe Tacopina, <\/strong>have their own checkered history<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Spiro (rhymes with pryo)<\/strong>, recently suffered a humiliating setback<\/strong> in July, when a judge dismissed<\/strong><\/a> his extortion and defamation case<\/strong> against plaintiff’s attorney Tony Buzbee.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The counter-suit was characterized as “retaliatory,”<\/strong> and part of a terror campaign<\/a> to discredit<\/strong> the 13 year old rape victim<\/strong> that accused Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs <\/strong>and Jay-Z<\/strong> of raping her.<\/p>\n

Alex Spiro Accused of Numerous Crimes: Jay-Z’s Attorney In Focus<\/strong><\/em><\/h2>\n

Alex Spiro has been accused of numerous crimes<\/strong> himself, including impersonating law enforcement<\/strong> in 2013 in Miami<\/strong><\/a>, and that he was \u201cbrazenly engaged in unauthorized practice of law\u201d <\/strong>in 2024<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Spiro<\/strong> was also accused<\/a> of threatening and intimidating witnesses<\/strong> when he worked for Ben Brafman’s law firm<\/strong>, defending convict Harvey Weinstein <\/strong>alongside disgraced attorney Lisa Bloom<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Coincidentally, Ben Brafman<\/strong> was also Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs attorney<\/strong> until he resigned<\/a> in March 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Recently, rapper Torey Lanez<\/strong> and his family have named Alex Spiro<\/strong> as one of the chief culprits<\/strong><\/a> involved in Lanez’ false imprisonment, <\/strong>over the shooting of Roc Nation artist<\/strong>, Meg Thee Stallion<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
