Gary Ross wrote the remake’s original script but Universal is planning to start over. The project’s previously-announced director Breck Eisner is moving on to a remake of “The Brood”.<\/p>\n
The original “Creature From The Black Lagoon” was released in 1954 and was about a scientific expedition encountering a mysterious merman-like creature that lives in the depths of the waters beneath them.<\/p>\n
