“Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World”, the big-screen adaptation of Bryan Lee O’Malley’s “Scott Pilgrim” comics directed by Edgar Wright, has been slated for a release date of August 13th, 2010.<\/p>\n
Starring Michael Cera, Brandon Routh, Jason Schwartzman, Chris Evans and Mary Elizabeth Winstead among others, “Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World” is about the lovable rock-n-roll bassist slacker Scott Pilgrim trying to date the ultra-cool and ultra-mysterious Ramona Flowers. Unfortunately, Scott must battle her seven evil ex’s in deadly kung-fu, video game-inspired combat before he can officially be his girlfriend. <\/p>\n
The original comic, which O’Malley writes and draws for Oni Press, debutes in 2004. The 6th and final volume of the story will be released before the film, though no official date has been released yet for that.<\/p>\n
