Charlie Sheen reunited with his wife Brooke Mueller Sheen on February 8 after an Aspen judge reversed a restraining order against the actor, according to the Associated Press. The couple is now going to try and work on their relationship after a domestic disturbance fight erupted on Christmas Day, when Sheen allegedly attacked his wife with a knife at his Aspen home.<\/p>\n
The couple appeared at the Pitkin County Courthouse, and hugged after the hearing. They plan to fly out of Aspen together, as attorney Yale Galanter announced he plans on asking prosecutors to drop the case. Sheen is currently charged with felony menacing and misdemeanor charges of third-degree assault and criminal mischief. If charged, he could spend three years for the most serious charge, but the ‘Two and a Half Men’ star has not yet entered a plea.<\/p>\n
Sheen and Mueller have been speaking through their attorneys since his arrest to protect her and their young twin sons. Judge James B. Boyd left the protection order in place to prohibit Sheen from harassing or retaliating against his wife, though the two have told their respective lawyers they wish to reconcile. The actor is also prohibited from possessing weapons or using non-prescription alcohol or drugs.<\/p>\n
