Justin Timberlake has signed on to star in “Bad Teacher” alongside Cameron Diaz.<\/p>\n

Jake Kasdan is directing the project for Columbia, which Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky wrote. Jimmy Miller is producing.<\/p>\n

Besides Diaz, Timberlake joins Lucy Punch, Molly Shannon, Jason Segel, John Michael Higgins, and Eric Stonestreet in the film, which is about a foul-mouthed seventh-grade teacher (Diaz) who gets unceremoniously dumped by her boyfriend. She then begins setting her sights on a colleague (Punch), who is dating a handsome new substitute teacher (Timberlake) who happens to be the heir to a watch fortune.<\/p>\n

The project begins filming this month in Los Angeles, CA. <\/p>\n
