Lionsgate has acquired the rights to “One For the Money”, starring Katherine Heigl. <\/p>\n

Based on the first novel in Janet Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum series. Stephanie Plum (Heigl), at a downturn in her life, is fired from her job, divorced, and living in New Jersey with a hamster. Working for her less-than-honest bail bondsman cousin, she gets caught up in a case involving a local cop wanted for murder that soon snowballs into an explosion of double-crossing, murder, and maybe some romance. And the biggest catch? This cop broke her heart back in high school.<\/p>\n

Julie Ann Robinson (“The Last Song”, “Grey’s Anatomy”) is directing based on a script by Liz Brixius (“Nurse Jackie”). Lakeshore Entertainment’s Tom Rosenberg and Gary Lucchesi are producing alongside Sidney Kimmel and Wendy Finerman.<\/p>\n
