CBS and Warner Bros. Television will stop production on their hit sitcom ‘Two and a Half Men’ for the rest of the season after all, www.tvguide.com<\/a> is reporting. The news comes after star Charlie Sheen bashed the series’ creator, Chuck Lorre, on the February 24 edition of the Alex Jones Show radio program. The star was supposed to reunite with the rest of the cast and crew and resume shooting during the first week of March after his most recent stint of rehab.<\/p>\n

CBS released a statement confirming the news, saying “Based on the totality of (Charlie) Sheen’s statements, conduct and condition, CBS and Warner Bros. Television have decided to discontinue production of ‘Two and a Half Men’ for the remainder of the season.” In response, Sheen took to his Tweeter account, saying “What does this say about Haim Levine (referring to Lorre) after he tried to use his words to judge and attempt to degrade me…I fire back once and (Lorre) can’t handle my power and can’t handle the truth.” The actor also urged his fans to “march up the steps of justice to right this unconscionable wrong.”<\/p>\n

After the radio interview, Sheen also told TMZ that he wanted to fight Lorre in a cage fight. The statements come after Lorre wrote on one of ‘Two and a Half Men’s vanity cards last month that he’d be upset if Sheen lived longer than he did.<\/p>\n
