At least we know that &#8220;Dancing with the Stars&#8221; champion Julianne Hough has a couple of those skills locked in. Maybe they came in handy when she got the new role for New Line Cinema&#8217;s adaptation of the musical &#8220;Rock of Ages.&#8221; The actress will be playing the role of Sherrie Christian in a film directed and choreographed by Adam Shankman.<\/p>\n<p>Hough will be acting alongside Tom Cruise and Mary J. Blige. &#8220;Rock of Ages&#8221; was penned for the big screen by the show&#8217;s creator Chris D&#8217;Arienzo. The story centers on a couple that meets at the Sunset Strip club Rock of Ages, falls in love and tries to stay together while living the rock life.
