Think about this, have you ever asked yourself the question… “If I didn’t have music in my life, where would I be and what would I do”? The truth is, without music the world would be a cold and\u00a0shallow grave. Music can free the mind to new experiences just by listening to it, let alone creating it. The harp can sooth the savage beast and who doesn’t understand that more than Ian Gillan<\/a> and Tony Iommi<\/a>. At least that is the way these pioneers of rock and roll see it, as should we all. There is absolutely no one on this planet that should be deprived of this experience.<\/p>\n

In Gyumri, Armenia there has been wars, genocide and earthquakes. With hopes broken, it would seem that man has completely forgotten the heartache and devastation from a country depleted of resources.<\/p>\n

Not iconic singer Ian Gillan of \u00a0(Deep Purple\/ Black Sabbath) and guitarist Tony Iommi (Black Sabbath). Extending their efforts to young Armenian musicians by spearheading a project called “Who Cares”. This project is designed to rebuild a Gyumri, Armenian music school that is in shambles.<\/p>\n

Ian Gillan and Tony Iommi have collectively, collaborated with other musical greats to restore the hopes and dreams of others. Presenting to you the digital 2 song single “Who Cares”, proceeds will go to these efforts.<\/p>\n

The single features two new studio tracks “Out of Mind” and “Holy Water”, in which the digital single will be released May 6, 2011 (Eagle Rock Entertainment<\/a>).<\/p>\n

The CD\/DVD hard copy single will be available in Europe May 24, 2011 (earMusic<\/a>) and in the U.S June 27, 2011 (Eagle Rock Entertainment<\/a>). This package will also include a video clip of “Out of Mind” and a 40 minute documentary of Gillan’s and Iommi’s association with the cause.<\/p>\n
