The movie, which had its international premiere at this year&#8217;s Tribeca Film Festival, was directed by Jean-Pierre Ameris, who also co-wrote it with Philippe Blasband.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Romantics Anonymous,&#8217; which was produced by Nathalie Gastaldo and Philippe Godeau and was released by StudioCanal in France, follows Angelique Delange, played by Isabelle Carre, an unemployed chocolate maker. However, she is unable to share her culinary talent with the world, as she suffers from uncontrollable shyness. Eventually, she is hired as a new sales associate by the equally shy Jean-Rene Van Den Hugde, played by Benoit Poelyoorde, who runs a chocolate company in need of new direction.
