After the recently released montage<\/a> of bloody battle scenes, a non-brutal piece of promo material for the new release Ironclad<\/I> comes as a bit of a surprise. Okay, the Aika music video for “Dancing Arrows” isn’t devoid of violence, but Kate Mara and the film’s romantic side certainly take center stage here.<\/p>\n

Ironclad<\/I> focuses on the aftermath of the signing of the Magna Carta in 1215. After being forced to sign, King John (Paul Giamatti) is hell bent on getting revenge on those responsible and taking control of the nation. Standing in his way is Templar Knight, Thomas Marshall (James Purefoy), and a small band of warriors determined to defend Rochester Castle as it\u2019s the last thing standing between King John and domination of the southeast of Britain.<\/p>\n

Ironclad<\/I> is in theaters now, but having not seen it myself all I can say is it\u2019s a nice change of pace to see something a bit more tame in terms of the film\u2019s promotional campaign. It certainly suggests there\u2019s more to this feature than impalements and decapitations. Plus, the song is pretty good, too. Check it out for yourself below.<\/p>\n
