One prominent member of the cast is the original Leatherface. <\/p>\n<p>Gunnar Hansen, the first Leatherface in cinema, will return to &#8220;The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D&#8221; in a cameo role. Also making a cameo is Marilyn Burns, who played Verna Carson in the 1974 film. Also returning is John Dugan, who played Grandfather in the original film. <\/p>\n<p>The rest of the cast in &#8220;The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D&#8221; include character actor Bill Moseley as Drayton Sawyer. Moseley will be acting as Sawyer on behalf of Jim Sideow, who played the part before his 2003 passing. Both actors had appeared in the 1983 film and hit it off. \u201cMoseley is the perfect choice to capture some of the essence that Siedow had brought to the character,\u201d said director John Luessenhop. <\/p>\n<p>Newcomer Dan Yeager will play the role of Leatherface, and Alexandra Daddario has been cast in the female lead role of Heather Miller. Tania Raymonde will play Heather&#8217;s friend Nikki, R&amp;B singer Trey Songz will play Heather&#8217;s boyfriend Ryan and Keram Malicki-Sanchez will play Ryan&#8217;s friend. Shaun Sipos will play a mysterious hitchhiker named Darryl. <\/p>\n<p>Other cast members include Thom Barry as Sheriff Hooper, Paul Rae as the town&#8217;s mayor, Burt Hartman. Scott Eastwood will play the Deputy Carl Hartman who is deeply infatuated with Heather, and noted character actor Richard Riehle will play Sawyer&#8217;s family attorney Farnsworth. <\/p>\n<p>The plot of the film revolves around Heather as she travels to the small town to pick up her inheritance.
