It would seem that the film is also winning over critics.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s what some of the critics are saying about the film, which has garnered a 74% from critics and an 85% from audiences:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Comic book fans are likely to appreciate Captain America, which does a good job of consolidating the disparate origin aspects of the character into something easily digestible.&#8221;&#8211;James Berardinelli, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.reelviews.net\/php_review_template.php?identifier=2332\" target=\"blank\">Reelviews<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Until the computer-generated effects bog it down and mess up its rhythms, &#8220;Captain America: The First Avenger&#8221; has a measured, classical pace and a lot of good, old-fashioned craftsmanship&#8221;&#8211;David Edelstein, <a href=\"http:\/\/nymag.com\/daily\/entertainment\/2011\/07\/movie_review_captain_america.html\" target=\"blank\">New York Magazine<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;What lingers most about Captain America is its innocent, throwback ethos, a firm, unqualified embrace of the Little Guy.&#8221;&#8211;Christopher Orr,<a href=\"http:\/\/www.theatlantic.com\/entertainment\/archive\/2011\/07\/the-humble-charm-of-captain-america\/242327\/\" target=\"blank\"> The Atlantic <\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;What I liked about this movie was that it felt really grounded in the 1940s era where men in uniforms danced their last night in the states away with a pretty girl&#8230;Zapping Steve in a machine that literally blows up the room is a great warning about how different he will be in the theatre of war, Paramount and Marvel did not go overboard with the special effects so the story remains edgy and verifiable.&#8221;&#8211;Diana Saenger, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.reviewexpress.com\/review.php?rv=1137\" target=\"blank\">Reviewexpress<\/a><\/p>\n<p>What do you think about &#8220;Captain America: The First Avenger&#8221;?
