Who doesn’t love a MIMOBOT? They’re these little USB drives in the shape of all sorts of characters like Batman, Hello Kitty, Darth Vader and more. Sure, they’re small and simple, but it really does make backing up your work that much more enjoyable. In fact, one of the few things I bought while at San Diego Comic Con was their Stormtrooper model.<\/p>\n

MIMOBOT’s Comic Con booth came packed with many of their beloved designs like their Star Wars line-up, Green Lantern drives, and Batman designs, but the team was also there to introduce a few SDCC 2011 exclusives. Not only were the Harley Quinn and Emily the Strange MIMOBOTs available for purchase, but both Tara Strong who voices Quinn in the Batman: Arkham City<\/I> video game and Rob Reger, the creator of the character Emily the Strange, made appearances to support their designs. Billy Dee Williams also showed up to support his Lando Clarissian model.<\/p>\n

In addition, Comic Con also saw the release of the Star Wars<\/I> series 7 collection, which includes Boba Fett (ROTJ Edition), Leia as Boushh, Lando Clarissian, Bossk and Han Solo with a carbonite carrying case. The 2 GB HK Animals collection also premiered, rocking 11 different designs. On top of that, the company also debuted its new 32 and 64 GB capacity drives.<\/p>\n

Sure, SDCC is now long gone, but that doesn\u2019t mean you can\u2019t hit the Mimico website<\/a> to purchase your own MIMOBOT. Okay, I\u2019m sounding a bit like an advertisement, but as someone who relies on these little guys to back up years\u2019 worth of work, I really do greatly appreciate the opportunity to have a little fun with the back-up process.<\/p>\n
