Sure, ketchup is used as an ingredient in foods, but just think the amount of bonus flavor that will be added due to the balsamic vinegar! <\/p>\n<p>This is the first time in a decade that there&#8217;s a new flavor of ketchup out on the market. However, the company doesn&#8217;t plan on advertising the ketchup; instead, they are putting their eggs in the basket of social media to help promote the ketchup, according to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2011\/10\/26\/business\/media\/ketchup-moves-upmarket-with-a-balsamic-tinge.html?_r=1\" target=\"blank\">The New York Times<\/a>. Also, the new ketchup is currently available only through the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/HeinzKetchup\" target=\"blank\">Heinz Ketchup Facebook page<\/a> starting November 14. In December, the ketchup will then make it to stores, but even then it&#8217;ll only be in select stores like Walmart and Safeway for $2.49. <\/p>\n<p>The reviews for the ketchup are already favorable (The Huffington Post also reports that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/foodanddrink\/8361796\/Heinz-tomato-ketchup-with-balsamic-vinegar-a-review.html\" target=\"blank\">The Telegraph<\/a> said the ketchup was &#8220;genuinely sophisticated,&#8221; &#8220;elegant&#8221; and had &#8220;a depth to it.&#8221;, so hopefully, this flavor stays with us for a long time!<\/p>\n<p>You can read more about the ketchup <a href=\"http:\/\/www.huffingtonpost.com\/2011\/10\/27\/heinz-tomato-ketchup-balsamic-vinegar_n_1033642.html\" target=\"blank\">here<\/a> at the Huffington Post.
