Saturday, the news finally came out as to who the next Lara Croft would be. <\/p>\n<p>Olivia Wilde was interviewed for the Brazilian film website <a href=\"http:\/\/cinepop.com.br\/\">CinePop<\/a>, and she said that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cinepop.com.br\/noticias2\/tombraider3_110.htm\" target=\"blank\">she has been a big fan of the character<\/a> and is happy portray the character in the new film version, which is set for 2013 .<\/p>\n<p>So far, she is the only confirmed cast member. The director of the film is Mark Fergus, who also wrote another film Wilde has starred in, &#8220;Cowboys and Aliens.&#8221; He&#8217;s also written &#8220;Iron Man.&#8221; Fergus and Hawk Ostby have written the screenplay for the new &#8220;Lara Croft&#8221; film, and Graham King and Ted Hedington will produce. <\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s more at work here than Hollywood just feeling like they need to give the fans what they want. The first two &#8220;Tomb Raider&#8221; films made around $400 million worldwide, which, of course, begs the question of when, in this reboot age of movies, &#8220;Tomb Raider&#8221; was going to be dusted off and put back out there for market. <\/p>\n<p>How do you feel about Wilde portraying Lara Croft?
