The former crime boss, who has been seen recently in &#8216;Where The Wild Things Are&#8217; and &#8216;Welcome To The Rileys&#8217;, is said to be in talks to star in the Don Scardino directed picture.  If Gandolfini commits, he would play a wealthy casino owner who hosts shows performed by actor Steve Carell&#8217;s character, one &#8220;half of a once-successful Las Vegas magic duo,&#8221; who must &#8220;reunite to square off against a hot shot street magician (to be played by Jim Carrey) whose tricks are often dangerous.&#8221;  <\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Burt Wonderstone&#8217; was penned by Bones star John Francis Daley and writer Jonathan Goldstein, the team behind &#8216;Horrible Bosses&#8217;, with the help of Jason Reitman.  Aside from a possible James Gandolfini, Steve Carell, and Carrey, the female lead role is said to currently be nailed down to either Sarah Silverman or Olivia Wilde, per Variety.
