In the eulogy written by Apple visionary Steve Jobs’ sister Mona Simpson, it was revealed that Steve Jobs’ words were “Oh wow,” according to The Guardian.<\/a> <\/p>\n

The eulogy, which was read during Jobs’ funeral service October 16, was allowed to be printed in the New York Times. Simpson describes Jobs’ final moments, saying that Jobs’ seemed like he was preparing for a journey. <\/p>\n

“His tone was affectionate, dear, loving, but like someone whose luggage was already strapped onto the vehicle, who was already on the beginning of his journey, even as he was sorry, truly deeply sorry, to be leaving us,” she wrote. <\/p>\n

She also wrote that she learned something while seeing her brother’s condition get worse. “This is what I learned: He was working at this, too. Death didn’t happen to Steve, he achieved it,” she wrote. <\/p>\n

His final words were said hours before. “[They] were monosyllables, repeated three times,” she wrote. “Before embarking, he’d looked at his sister Patty, then for a long time at his children, then at his life’s partner, Laurene, and then over their shoulders past them. Steve’s final words were: ‘Oh wow. Oh wow. Oh wow.'”<\/p>\n

Personally, I find his final words to be oddly comforting. To me, they showed he was at peace and was seeing something beyond what we can see while we’re alive. <\/p>\n
