The verdict came in Monday, and the verdict is that Murray has been found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson. <\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hlntv.com\/video\/2011\/11\/07\/conrad-murray-verdict-not-guilty-or-guilty-video\" target=\"blank\">Headline News<\/a>, Murray will face up to four years in jail, however, Murray could serve his four years on house arrest because of a new California law aimed at addressing prison overcrowding and budget issues. Also, according to the site&#8217;s article, the verdict was unanimous&#8211;the law in California states that the jury can reach a guilty verdict only if the jury members all agree that the prosecution&#8217;s case was proven beyond a reasonable doubt. <\/p>\n<p>The jury took only about 10 hours over the course of Friday and Monday before turning in their verdict. The verdict was read by the county clerk, and after the verdict and the setting of the sentencing date (which is November 29), Murray was remanded by the court without bail. <\/p>\n<p>Overall, the reaction from Jackson fans is elation.
