I know fans have been waiting impatiently for the show ever since the last episode of the first season aired, so now, at the very least, you can now see the light at the end of the tunnel.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"http:\/\/sherlockology.tumblr.com\/post\/12924702066\/sherlocks2tv\">Sherlockology<\/a>, PBS Masterpiece is going to start series 2 of &#8220;Sherlock&#8221; May 6, 2012. Here&#8217;s the official rundown of the airing dates:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;A Scandal in Belgravia&#8221;&#8211;May 6, 2012 9 p.m. ET\/8 p.m. CT<br \/>\n&#8220;The Hounds of Baskerville&#8221;&#8211;May 13, 2012, 9 p.m. ET\/8 p.m. CT<br \/>\n&#8220;The Reichenbach Fall&#8221;&#8211;May 20, 2012, 9 p.m. ET\/8 p.m. CT<\/p>\n<p>For those new to the series, the episodes are feature-length, thus the reason for only three episodes. This series is the epitome of &#8220;less is more&#8221; as far as the number of episodes goes. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Sherlock&#8221; is based on the Sir Arthur Conan Doyle book series about the famous detective and his friend and biographer, John Watson. The show stars Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman as Holmes and Watson, respectively. The show was created for television by &#8220;Doctor Who&#8221;&#8216;s Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss. The two also write most of the episodes for &#8220;Sherlock.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>What do you think about the lineup?
