Another day and some more very sad news, famous soul musician Isaac Hayes, who played the voice of Chef on the hit Comedy Central series “South Park” has passed away today August 10th at age 65 in Shelby County, Tennesee. Although the cause of death is still unknown, according to reports, his wife found him unconscious near the treadmill at his home. He was pronounced dead at 2:08 at the Baptist East Hospital in Memphis.<\/p>\n
Isaac Hays perhaps best known for writing the theme song for “Shaft” and for his acting role as The Duke in John Carpenter’s cult classic “Escape from New York” recently completed Return to Sleepaway Camp from director Robert Hiltzik.<\/p>\n
