The game, which can be downloaded through Facebook (click <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/dialog\/permissions.request?app_id=173486632729593&amp;display=page&amp;next=https%3A%2F%2Fapps.facebook.com%2Fmission-impossible%2F%3F&amp;type=user_agent&amp;canvas=1&amp;perms=read_stream%2Cuser_location%2Cuser_birthday%2Cpublish_stream%2Cemail\" target=\"blank\">here!<\/a>) puts the players in the midst of an underground team of agents. According to the press release:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Mission: Impossible The Game casts players in the leading role of an underground secret agent who must assemble a team of covert agents, unlock state-of-the-art gadgets and equipment and collect classified intel through secret rendezvous in order to build an outfit ready to complete elaborate operations in exotic locales around the world.  Featuring eight exciting stories, over 200 missions and set in 50 global locations, Mission: Impossible The Game truly captures the essence of what it means to be part of the Impossible Missions Force.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Sam Glassenberg, CEO of Funtactix, said, according to the release, the game brings a tremendous amount of detail from the &#8220;Mission: Impossible&#8221; world. &#8220;&#8216;Mission: Impossible The Game&#8217; goes well beyond a typical social game and brings an unprecedented level of detail and authenticity,\u201d he said. \u201cIt allows fans of the action-packed Mission: Impossible movies to create an agent in the official &#8216;M:I&#8217; universe and live a life of espionage and covert operations with their real-life friends as accomplices.\u201d  <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIntegrating unique experiences and rewards into the &#8216;Mission: Impossible&#8217; game is an exciting new way for Paramount to interact with the Facebook community and build on the excitement for &#8216;Mission: Impossible \u2013 Ghost Protocol&#8217; in an organic way,\u201d said Amy Powell, President, Insurge Pictures &amp; Paramount Digital Entertainment and Executive Vice President, Interactive Marketing for Paramount Pictures, in the release.<\/p>\n<p>The game will not only provide entertainment, but it&#8217;ll also provide fans some unique opportunities concerning &#8220;Ghost Protocol.&#8221; Such opportunities include exclusive items and giveaways, such as a chance to win tickets to the U.S. premiere of &#8220;Ghost Protocol,&#8221; the chance to win a hometown screening of &#8220;Ghost Protocol&#8221; for you and 30 of your friends, movie passes to the film, A &#8220;Ghost Protocol&#8221;-themed game level, signed merchandise, &#8220;M:I&#8221; Blu-ray\/DVD sets, exclusive clips and movie trailers and more.
