The partnership will reformat 30 films into HD for Blu-ray and new media exploitation.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Dracula Prince of Darkness&#8217; is the first movie that is scheduled to be released as part of the global restoration project. It will be released in the UK in March 2012, in conjunction with StudioCanal. Other films scheduled to be restored by Hammer include &#8216;The Reptile,&#8217; &#8216;The Plague of The Zombies,&#8217; &#8216;The Devil Rides Out,&#8217; &#8216;Rasputin the Mad Monk&#8217; and &#8216;The Mummy&#8217;s Shroud.&#8217; Hammer&#8217;s three influential original Gothic classics, &#8216;The Curse of Frankenstein,&#8217; &#8216;Dracula&#8217; and &#8216;The Mummy,&#8217; are also set to be restored.<\/p>\n<p>The movies will not only feature fully-restored HD picture and sound, they will also feature newly-filmed extras, including interviews with cast members.
