Miller&#8217;s decision to resurrect the CW series Smallville with an 11th season, in comic book form, has been confirmed. According to several reports, DC Comics has plans to release the first chapter of the resurrection online this coming April 12th, with the actual publications set for release May 16th.<\/p>\n<p>While some Smallville fans won&#8217;t be happy about this news there are many looking forward to Miller&#8217;s continuation of the story of Tom Welling\u2019s Clark Kent, and how he succeeds in his first year as Superman. &#8220;It&#8217;s Clark&#8217;s first year as Superman,&#8221; Miller shared.  &#8220;He&#8217;s riding the high of everything working out so far. And he enjoys that he can stop and shake hands with folks after he saves them.\u201d  Adding that \u201cmost people are thrilled that Superman saved the world by moving a planet out of the way,&#8221; Miller says, &#8220;but Lex and a handful of others are concerned that there&#8217;s a guy out there who can move planets.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>It is also been revealed that Miller plans to include all of the resident characters from the CW show. &#8220;It&#8217;s a continuation of the lives of characters seen weekly over the course of 10 years,&#8221; Miller stated. &#8220;It&#8217;s an ensemble book with Clark Kent at the core. Clark just so happens to now be Superman.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>The first release of Smallville Season 11 is scheduled to include 12 chapters, which will be available via the DC Comics app on Apple, and more.
