Outlaw Biker Film"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tom Hardy is in negotiations to produce and star in an as-of-yet titled outlaw biker film with Warner Bros., <a href=\"http:\/\/collider.com\/tom-hardy-biker-warner-bros\/151015\/\" target=\"blank\">Collider<\/a> is reporting. The actor, who signed a first-look deal with the studio, has finished shooting &#8216;The Dark Knight Rises&#8217; and director John Hillcoat&#8217;s &#8216;The Wettest County,&#8217; which is set to be released in August, leaving him time to shoot the biker film.<\/p>\n<p>The biker movie, which will be Hardy&#8217;s first project under his new Executive Options banner, will follow his character, a wounded Vietnam war veteran returning home to San Francisco in 1969. His character will emerge as the leader of one of the most violent outlaw biker gangs in California, as the story explores the clashing cultures of the Haight-Ashbury district.<\/p>\n<p>Hardy will partner with Linson Entertainment producers Art Linson and John Linson for the film, whose script was written by &#8216;Vacany&#8217; scribe Mark L. Smith. The screenwriter was a surprising choice to pen the script, as he&#8217;s primarily known for such horror\/thriller films as &#8216;The Hole 3D&#8217; and &#8216;Seance,&#8217; as well as the &#8216;Vacancy&#8217; series.
