She said that the first sequel isn&#8217;t a sure thing, but it looks &#8220;pretty good right now,&#8221; with a fall production start date looking possible.<\/p>\n<p>Ross decided to bring Beaufoy back to adapt &#8216;Catching Fire,&#8217; which is set to have a possible November 2013 release date. The director is also committed to making the sequel his next project.<\/p>\n<p>After Lionsgate revealed that it&#8217;s considering splitting the second film sequel, &#8216;MockingJay,&#8217; into two films, many fans of the book series expressed they felt it was unnecessary. But Jacobson, who discovered &#8216;The Hunger Games&#8217; book in a book store and decided to bring the idea to Hollywood, said &#8220;To set the stage for a third, or even fourth, movie, a second needs to be completed first.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Jacobson added &#8220;The third one? We haven&#8217;t even, honestly, started to figure it out yet. There&#8217;s a lot of material in that book. Ultimately, it&#8217;s a conversation with (Suzanne) Collins and Lionsgate I am very committed to (Suzanne).&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Written by: <a
