Everyone waits until the year is over to compile their “Best of whatever” movie lists. This has become a mundane practice. Time for a bit of a change, kids.<\/em><\/p>\n

American Reunion<\/em>, a legacy of the American Pie<\/em> franchise, had the nostalgia factor working for them. It’s just a shame the coaching staff (script writers & directors) didn’t have the hustle and passion the previous installments showcased during their glory days. Still, the roster (cast) put forth a decent effort.<\/p>\n

The new releases for the respective week will have a capsule review at the end of the column. A new poll comes out every Monday. Here’s how things are shaking up so far in 2012:<\/p>\n

Overall, this flick is a decent party with a few highs (literally and figuratively) and few dead-air type segments. All the raunchiness is still present yet it just doesn\u2019t feel as creative as it did ten years ago. Actually, some of the wild antics felt forced in. That being said, this is worth venturing into and having some laughs with some \u201cold friends.\u201d<\/p>\n

By the way, a fun game to play is watching the extras (background actors) blatantly stare at the cast. And apparently, all the extras are models.<\/p>\n
