{"id":92543,"date":"2012-04-30T09:30:13","date_gmt":"2012-04-30T16:30:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.shockya.com\/news\/?p=92543"},"modified":"2012-04-30T20:34:12","modified_gmt":"2012-05-01T03:34:12","slug":"mel-gibson-could-be-in-robert-rodriguez-machete-kills","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.shockya.com\/news\/2012\/04\/30\/mel-gibson-could-be-in-robert-rodriguez-machete-kills\/","title":{"rendered":"Mel Gibson Could Be In Robert Rodriguez&#8217; Machete Kills"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mel Gibson has recently <a href=\"http:\/\/todayentertainment.today.msnbc.msn.com\/_news\/2012\/04\/28\/11447036-mel-gibson-ive-got-a-little-bit-of-a-temper?lite\">had another meltdown<\/a> and his Judah Maccabee film <a href=\"http:\/\/www.huffingtonpost.com\/2012\/04\/11\/mel-gibson-maccabee-movie-warner-bros_n_1418759.html\">has been put on hold for now<\/a>, but Gibson could still be transformed by Robert Rodriguez in the sequel to &#8220;Machete,&#8221; &#8220;Machete Kills.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cinemablend.com\/new\/Mel-Gibson-Up-Role-Robert-Rodriguez-Machete-Kills-30581.html\">CinemaBlend<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.deadline.com\/2012\/04\/mel-gibson-to-join-machete-kills-mayhem\/\">Deadline<\/a>, Gibson could be playing alongside Michelle Williams in the grindhouse-esque film, and, according to Deadline, Gibson is in &#8220;serious discussions&#8221; to play a supporting role. <\/p>\n<p>I know the site said &#8220;serious discussions,&#8221; but still, we&#8217;ll have to see if this is true; this could still end up like the &#8220;The Hangover 2&#8221; situation in which Gibson was supposed to have a cameo, but was eventually denied the role due to some of the cast members feeling uncomfortable due to his earlier anti-Semitic rant. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Machete Kills,&#8221; according to Deadline, will involve Machete getting drafted by the U.S. government in order to track an arms dealer through Mexico before the dealer can launch a rocket. The film will have Danny Trejo reprise his role as Machete.
