If you’re a serious fan of movies, you’re 1) probably a big fan of ShockYa and 2) probably love read scripts of your favorite movies. However, if you love reading scripts, you generally have to hunt for them on the internet. Now you don’t have to anymore with Warner Bros. “Inside the Script.”<\/p>\n

“Inside the Script,” now available for iBookstore, Kindle and NOOK by Barnes & Noble, is, according to the release, “a series of highly illustrated eBooks that contain the film\u2019s actual shooting script, rare materials from the Warner Bros. Corporate Archive and much more.” The first series of The first series of \u201cInside the Script\u201d titles include \u201cCasablanca,\u201d \u201cBen-Hur,\u201d \u201cAn American in Paris\u201d and \u201cNorth by Northwest.\u201d I’d say that’s a great set of films to start out with. <\/p>\n

The eBooks give fans an all-access pass to the behind-the-scenes world of their favorite films; every “Inside the Script” title includes the film’s complete shooting script in a customizable eBook format, chapters on the script and and movie development, rare documents such as production notes, storyboards and candid photos and an interactive image gallery of costumes, movie posters, on-set stills, set designs and behind-the-scenes photos. <\/p>\n

Thomas Gewecke, President of Warner Bros. Digital Distribution said, \u201cPeople love movies because of the stories they tell. Now we can give fans rarely seen details of how these stories came together and take their enjoyment of films to a whole new level.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n– Production Code Administration letters, notes and seal of approval

\u201cBen-Hur\u201d
\n– Rare behind-the-scenes materials including makeup and wardrobe tests, production design sketches, sample matte paintings
\n– A forward and captions written by Charlton Heston\u2019s son, Fraser C. Heston
\n– Excerpts from Charlton Heston\u2019s acting and shooting journals during filming
\n– Details about the development of Panavision and MGM\u2019s proprietary widescreen process (MGM Camera 65)<\/p>\n

\u201cAn American in Paris\u201d
\n– Full shooting script
\n– Detailed descriptions from continuity script\u2019s musical numbers
\n– Treatment for the ballet sequence from Vincente Minnelli\u2019s papers
\n– Set design paintings from the MGM production design collection
\n– Tickets to the film\u2019s Hollywood premiere from MGM makeup artist John Truwe<\/p>\n
