An exclusive new clip for the upcoming sci-fi action film ‘Battleship,’ titled ‘First Contact,’ has been released on Xfinity TV. The clip showcases several of the major characters in the Universal naval war movie, which is based on the Hasbro board game of the same name, as they make first contact with the alien vessels threatening to annihilate Earth. Xfinity’s ‘Battleship’ page<\/a> also features two exclusive cast interviews and the trailers for the film.<\/p>\n

‘Battleship,’ which was directed by Peter Berg, follows a small fleet of alien ships that arrive on Earth, in response to a NASA signal. When destroyers near Hawaii are sent to investigate the fleet and attempt to make contact, the aliens open fire. The film, which stars Taylor Kitsch, Alexander Skarsgard, Rihanna, Tadanoba Asano, Liam Neeson and Brooklyn Decker, is set to be released in theaters on May 18.<\/p>\n
