Anyways, the scoop is that there’s a new ESPN app for the Android called WatchESPN. This app will allow viewers to watch ESPN 1, 2, and 3 for free. If you think that’s the kicker, the bigger kicker, according to the information that ShockYa has received, is that there won’t be any fees to pay to the content owners. <\/p>\n

Here’s the official rundown on the app from play.google.com’s app store<\/a>:<\/p>\n

Stay connected to live sports and shows from ESPN–wherever and whenever you want them. Download the FREE WatchESPN app to your Android device and get 24\/7 access live streaming feeds from ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3 and ESPNU. <\/p>\n

You also don’t have to subscribe to cable to be able to use the app; while people who receive cable through Bright House Networks, Time Warner Cable and Verizon FiOS TV, you’ll be able to receive all of the ESPN channels. However, if you don’t have service from those cable networks but you receive your internet service through Verizon High Speed Internet, you’ll be able to have access to ESPN3. <\/p>\n

David has stated that he has always paid fees to content owners. “FilmOn supports all content owners, we pay silences to everyone.
