The action comedy, which is expected to be released next year, follows two San Fernando Valley lovers in Los Angeles who sell a fake snuff film. The two lovers subsequently take off with the money. Years later, the girl, played by Stewart, returns from the dead in order to save her younger sister, who she abandoned.<\/p>\n<p>Stewart will be receiving her first producer credit on &#8216;Cali&#8217; as well. The film greatly deviates from the &#8216;Twilight&#8217; series, as her lead character comes face-to-face with homicidal porn stars, stoner vet techs and an unstoppable killer in a cowboy hat.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Cali&#8217; will be produced by Voltage Prods and New School Media. It was written by Michael Diliberti, who will serve as a producer on the film.
