The studio acquired the film after its Texas premiere at Fantastic Fest, where it won Best Picture in the Comedy Features competition. &#8216;Klown,&#8217; which was directed by Mikkel Norgaard, has been will receive an English language remake with Todd Phillips producing and starring Danny McBride.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Klown&#8217; follows two inappropriate friends, played by comedians Frank Hyam and Casper Christensen, as they have countless awkward confrontations in the Danish countryside. Frank kidnaps the 12-year-old nephew of his pregnant girlfriend in an effort to prove he&#8217;s ready to be a father.<\/p>\n<p>The two join sex-crazed Casper on his secret adulterous weekend canoe trip. The three visit exclusive brothels and a prison, undergo hospitalizations and even become involved in armed robberies.
