The news of the &#8216;Lord of the Rings&#8217; actor&#8217;s potential casting comes after it was previously reported that Ben Kingsley was attached to play the Captain in the film. &#8216;Prometheus&#8217; star Noomi Rapace is also believed to have a role in the movie, as Anna Billington.<\/p>\n<p>The casting of Mortensen, Kingsley and Rapace, who rose to fame for her portrayal of Lisbeth Salander in the Swedish\/Danish film adaptations of the Millennium series, will majorly be based on Millennium Films&#8217; scheduling. &#8216;The Last Voyage of the Demeter&#8217; has been in development since 2004, and was previously lined up at Summit and Sony Screen Gems.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;The Descent&#8217; and &#8216;Doomsday&#8217; director Neil Marshall is currently on board to helm &#8216;The Last Voyage of the Demeter,&#8217; in which a ship will carry Dracula&#8217;s coffin from Transylvania to England. The latest draft of the film was written by documentary and short film scribe Lowell Cauffiel.
