It\u2019s official; should there be a zombie apocalypse, I\u2019m going to die \u2013 like ten times over.<\/p>\n
In honor of San Diego Comic Con, a portion of Petco Park was completely transformed into the land of the walking dead. Participants had the opportunity to go three routes \u2013 dress up zombie-style and try to infect the humans, be a survivor and try to make it to the safety zone without coming into contact with a walker or just enjoy watching the survivors get tormented as a spectator. I had the privilege of running the course as a survivor and, let me tell you, this thing was no joke!<\/p>\n
\u201cZombieland\u201d was right; you better mind your cardio and limber up because it\u2019s not easy maneuvering through a horde of hungry walkers. I consider myself a fairly fit person, but I\u2019ve got to admit, my legs are still burning hours later. Of course part of that is due to the fact that I absolutely wiped out within minutes of entering the course. And yes, please enjoy a laugh at my expense as you can totally experience me going down at the one minute, 33 second mark.<\/p>\n
Even though I recovered from the tough tumble, the course certainly took a toll. Before even making it to the halfway point I was totally out of breath and by the tail end, I resorted to trying to negotiate with zombies to let me pass.<\/p>\n
