The sponsors who will support the filmmakers and the movie community at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival (TFF) have been announced. The brands that have signed on to sponsor the TFF, including Apple, Bloomberg, Bing, JetBlue Airways, NBC 4 New York and Time Warner Cable, will support the festival’s operations.

The companies receive media attention to not only encourage the public to view TFF movies in-person or on-line, but to also expand many of the services provided to participating filmmakers. The TFF is “honored to have such a remarkable group of partners,” Jon Patricof, the Chief Operating Officer of Tribeca Enterprises, said. He added the festival’s most successful elements in the past have been developed in conjunction with its sponsors.

Adam Sloan, the Executive Vice President of Tribeca Enterprises, added that the TFF offers its sponsors “an ideal environment to reach and engage their target audiences all while engaging the arts and independent filmmaking.” Through marketing, the TFF’s partners are also able to “engage filmmakers, the entertainment industry and consumers alike,” Sloan added.
