Hammer Films, the movie arm of Exclusive Media Group, has acquired the rights to create a big-screen adaptation of author Susan Hill’s suspense thriller novel “The Woman in Black.” British director James Watkins (“Eden Lake”) is attached to direct a script being written by Jane Goldman (“Kick-Ass,” “Stardust”).
