Saturday, December 10th, 2011

Title: New Year’s Eve Director: Garry Marshall Starring: Jessica Biel, Jon Bon Jovi, Abigail Breslin, Josh Duhamel, Zac Efron, Katherine Heigel, Seth Meyers and Michelle Pfeiffer People often think their lives are going in one direction, and don’t realize the impact someone they don’t know, or haven’t recently connected with in a long time, can have on them. But once they do make that connection with a stranger, they start to question their choices and what they can do to improve themselves. Johnny Depp's Dark Shadows Cast Still Released

Friday, September 23rd, 2011

For those who were concerned about Johnny Depp’s caked white makeup after viewing the first “first look” shot of Barnabas Collins, throw away your concerns (or, most of them, anyway). Entertainment Weekly has the first look at the entire cast of “Dark Shadows,” the film adaptation of the popular 1960s-1970s gothic soap-opera directed by Tim Burton. Per usual with directors who have a stable of actors they love, Burton’s used tried-and-true Burton actors and actresses for this obviously offbeat and kooky film; aside from Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, Christopher Lee and Helena Bonham Carter are in the film, along with newcomers to the Burton fold Jackie Earle Haley, Alice Cooper(!), Bella…

New Year's Eve trailer hits the web

Wednesday, July 27th, 2011

The trailer, which is embedded below, shows a lot but really nothing at all except for fluffy, happy, easy-going rom-com movie tidbits. Basically, the story is the same as “Valentine’s Day,” except that Ashton Kutcher and Jessica Biel are playing two different characters (I assume Hector Elizondo, who…

Tuesday, February 15th, 2011

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Michelle Pfeiffer may reteam with director Tim Burton in his movie adaptation of “Dark Shadows”. According to the site, the actress is in talks to play Elizabeth Collins Stoddard, the reclusive matron of the large Collins dynasty who hasn’t left her mansion since the disappearance of her husband ten years ago. Johnny Depp is already scheduled to star in the film as Barnabas Collins, a 175-year-old vampire who hates himself due to his vampirism. He’s also searching for his lost love, Josette. This will be Pfeiffer’s first time to work with Burton since 1992′s “Batman Returns”, in which she played Catwoman/Selina Kyle. The late 1960s-early…
