Sam Raimi, according to The Hollywood Reporter, has signed on to produce the supernatural horror pic “Refuge”, based on a pitch from up-and-coming British director Corin Hardy. Jason Blum, Steven Schneider, and Nathan Kahane are all producing. “Refuge” is about a remote town that is terrorized by a mythological Yeti beast, the Bigfoot-like creature said to be native to the mountains of the Himalayas. Hardy will be directing from a script by fellow Brit Tom De Ville. No casting has been announced yet for the project. Stay tuned to Shockya.com for more Raimi and “Refuge” news.
