Apparently, the people over the upcoming “Wonder Woman” show have heard some of what the blogosphere wants. According to Slash Film and io9, the show is going through rewrites in order to include a more decisive (and decisively violent) Wonder Woman. The revisions, which were being written while the pilot was being shot–will have Diana Prince (played by Adrianne Palicki) lifting bad guys by the throats as well as there being plenty of kicks, chest-grabbing, and eye gouging. Also, Diana is once again an Amazon! In a flashback scene that was written prior to the shooting of the pilot, we see Diana save Steve Trevor from his burning plane when…

CinemaBlend has posted video and pictures of Adrianne Palicki during the filming of the show “Wonder Woman”. The pictures, originally posted at Bleeding Cool and Coming Soon, show Adrianne in action poses and doing behind-the-scenes stuff. Both the video and pictures show that some serious alterations have been made to the Wonder Woman suit since the last time we saw it, which was in that official press picture. Perhaps someone read the blogosphere’s reaction to the suit, since the pants are now toned down and done in an actual stretchy fabric, stars have been placed down the sides of the pant legs, and the boots are now their traditional red…

The actress tweeted the news on March 3, saying “Thrilled to be doing the NBC pilot ‘Wonder Woman.’ Can’t wait.” However, TV Line is also reporting that the deal isn’t official yet, as Hurley is experiencing some visa issues. Remember that interesting “Wonder Woman” pilot mentioned a few weeks ago? Well, we finally have a face to put to the David E. Kelley-verse “Wonder Woman” show. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Adrianne Palicki has been cast to play Diana Prince. You might recognize Palicki from the hit show “Friday Night Lights”, on which she played Tyra Collette. She also starred in the 2010 horror/action film “Legion”. She will also be seen in the upcoming “Red Dawn”. Also interesting: she was in the extremely short-lived show “Lone Star”. In the Kelley “Wonder Woman” show, Diana is a woman who is a vigilante superhero who has to balance her superhero work…

I thought I’d warn you in the title of this post. The Daily Beast has received some scenes from the Wonder Woman pilot, and after reading it, any Wonder Woman fan should start fearing the worst. First, some particulars–the pilot is written by David E. Kelley, known for “Doogie Howser, M.D.” and zany legal dramas like “Ally McBeal,” “Boston Legal,” “Boston Public” and the currently running “Harry’s Law.” His propensity for characters with mental issues (Denny Shore developing mild cognitive impairment) surrealist tendencies (Ally McBeal’s dance with her biological clock a.k.a. the Dancing Baby) or oddball settings (the lawfirm/shoe store in “Harry’s Law”) do not mix well in this pilot…

NBC has picked up the new ‘Wonder Woman’ television series being developed by David E. Kelley, Slashfilm.com is reporting. The news comes after all of the major networks, including NBC, recently passed on the series, which will feature the superhero’s famous lasso, cuffs and plane. But NBC ultimately decided to take a chance on the series after it was announced that Robert Greenblatt was appointed as the network’s new prime-time chairman. Even though the networks didn’t have concerns over the series’ story lines, they all expressed concern over potential licensing fees. The networks didn’t want to have to pay DC Comics the required extensive price to reboot the series. But…
