Blade a half human, half vampire whose mother was bitten during her pregnancy, unknown to the vampire who bit her the bite inadvertently created their worst nightmare a day walker with a thirst for more than just blood. Blade is the most feared and successful vampire hunter to ever grace the face of the earth and his goal is to find and kill as many vampires as possible, with the help from his only friend Whistler the two try to prevent vampires from taking over the human race and running the world once and for all.

Technically this was great. It combined the best of a comic book and action flick rolled into one great movie. The adaptation from book to screen was amazing, with wonderfully filmed fight sequences and a great ashy body count. The only downside was that it could have been a bloodier movie. Still it receives Three Skipped Beats on the Roger Moore movie scale Blade has to be one of the better comic adaptations out today and with Wesley Snipes pulling the lead in the right direction it’s no wonder it was as successful as it was. I loved this movie and am happy to have it in the collection. As always be afraid, be very afraid. blade.jpg
