Quest Friday: Restore, Roll, and Reveal

Friday on Quest is a buffet of curiosity‑fuelled drama. Whether you’re a fan of dusty relics, raw Australian roads or the science behind everyday objects, there’s a slot that’s ready to grip you. Here’s the line‑up and why you should pick it.

06:00 – Salvage Hunters: The Restorers

The Restorers kicks off the night, showcasing leather‑worker Martin, wood‑worker Alex and sculptor Nick tackling historic pieces. The blend of craftsmanship and competition is a strong opener, and the show’s pacing keeps you hooked without feeling rushed.

07:00 – Salvage Hunters

Drew Pritchard turns a 13th‑century house into a treasure hunt, then dives into a classic car collection in Hertfordshire. The narrative is clear, and the build‑up of each find feels earned, making it a reliable pick for the early evening.

09:00 – Aussie Gold Hunters

Three teams head into Western Australia’s Goldfields, risking it all for that elusive nugget. The stakes feel real, and the camera work captures the grit of the fieldwork, giving viewers a taste of adventure without the high‑stakes commercial feel.

11:00 – Outback Truckers

A gritty cross‑country odyssey follows Yogi, Mike and Vinnie as they navigate Australia’s toughest terrains. The emotional undercurrent—Yogi’s memorial for his father—adds depth, turning what could be a simple road‑trip into a story worth watching.

13:00 – Shed And Buried: Classic Cars

Henry and Fuzz tackle a Triumph Spitfire in Gloucestershire. The risk‑taking restoration challenge is compelling, and the show balances technical detail with an entertaining narrative flow.

20:00 – The Repair Shop

A team of artisans revives a metal breadcrumb maker and a stuffed toy lamb, offering quiet moments of craftsmanship. Its gentle tone contrasts the earlier adrenaline, giving a calm, satisfying end to the evening.

22:00 – How Do They Do It?

From emergency bridge building to the design of a 200‑mph superbike, this segment showcases engineering ingenuity. The visual spectacle keeps viewers engaged while the explanations make complex concepts accessible.

06:00 (next day) – Massive Engineering Mistakes

A global look at building blunders, with expert analysis on how errors are corrected. This show offers a sobering reminder of the importance of precision, and it’s a good fit after the high‑energy content earlier.

Bottom Line

Quest’s Friday lineup is a balanced mix of nostalgia, adventure and technical wonder. Whether you’re in the mood for restoration, rugged travel or engineering insight, there’s a show that will keep you talking all night.
