Salvage Hunters – The Quest for the Unexpected
Around 15 episodes of the series line up from 05:00 to 17:00 GMT. Drew Pritchard and his partner Tee scour the UK for oddities, from rock‑n‑roll memorabilia to Victorian chests. The show’s charm lies in the excitement of the hunt and the sheer variety of finds.
Opinion: The relentless pacing keeps the viewer engaged, and the occasional historical tidbit adds depth. It’s a reliable choice if you enjoy a mix of curiosity and treasure‑hunt drama.
Fantasy Homes By The Sea – A Budget‑Friendly Home Quest
At 06:00 GMT, a couple heads to Wales with an £800,000 budget to buy a joint home and start a business. The episode showcases the challenges of buying property in a competitive market.
Opinion: The show balances romance with realism, making it useful for viewers who are serious about property but also enjoy light drama.
Antiques Road Trip – The Final Auction Showdown
Two episodes run from 12:00 to 14:00 GMT, featuring Catherine Southon and Serhat Ahmet racing to maximize profit in Norfolk and Northamptonshire. The final leg finishes in Newcastle.
Opinion: The competitive edge adds suspense, though the pacing can feel rushed toward the end. It’s still a good pick for those who like a blend of travel and auction excitement.
The Repair Shop – Restoring Treasured Items
From 14:00 to 15:00 GMT, artisans revive a Titanic survivor’s document and a stone birdbath. The craftsmanship is showcased in a calm, detailed narrative.
Opinion: The episode’s gentle tone and focus on preservation will satisfy viewers who appreciate skillful restoration over high drama.
Celebrity Help! My House Is Haunted – Ghostly Investigations
From 23:00 to 00:00 GMT, the show follows celebrities dealing with mysterious household phenomena. The episode features Charlotte Crosby and later Frankie Essex.
Opinion: While the paranormal element can feel staged, the personal stories add a relatable touch. It’s interesting if you’re curious about the supernatural, but not for those who prefer hard science.
Bottom Line
Really TV’s Friday schedule offers a diverse mix – from treasure hunting and property drama to restoration and spooky investigations. Whether you’re in the mood for excitement, craftsmanship, or a dash of the supernatural, there’s a program that will fit the bill. Enjoy the evening and let the variety keep you on your toes.
