- Actor Paul Hogan is not allowed to leave Australia until he pays a disputed multi-million dollar tax bill, Popeater.com reported on August 26. - Nick Loeb, who is dating ‘Modern Family’ actress Sofia Vergara, was admitted tot he intensive care unit at a Bel Air hospital on August 23 after he was involved in a car accident, TMZ is reporting. Paramedics rushed tot he scene of the crash near Beverly Glen around 4:30 pm. Loeb, who was involved in Florida politics before he moved to L.A. and began pursing a career in television production, had “a severely broken leg and a deep gash across the chest” when he was admitted to the hospital.

- Steven Tyler allegedly told a close source that he will accept one of the judge’s positions on the next season of ‘American Idol,’ the Associated Press (AP) reported on August 18. While the Aerosmith lead singer hasn’t officially released a public statement confirming or denying the news, AP added “there is no reason to refute” the claims.
